History

1923 The company Teurlings was founded by Antoon Teurlings.

1926 The company began producing cattle briquettes, which became well-known throughout the south of the Netherlands.

1935 The little factory was expanded to include oil wringers for pressing oil.

1952 De olieperserij werd omgebouwd tot bloemfabriek voor het malen van tarwe en bloem.

1959 The oil pressing shop was converted into a flour factory for milling wheat and flour.

1963 The abandoned flour factory was converted into a pigeon feed and bird seed cleaning and mixing factory.

1968 A new 1,000-ton silo building was erected during this year for the cleaning factory.

1969 The year in which the new cattle feed factory opened.

1973 50-year anniversary of the Gebr. Teurlings company.

Vanaf 1980 The product range was expanded over the years to include numerous successful products for all categories of hobby animal. The market grew rapidly, with high demand for the brand, both nationally and internationally.

1998 75-year anniversary.

2002 Teurlings bereikt een overeenkomst met Siber Hegner. Het merk wordt overgenomen door deze Zwitserse organisatie. De distributie wordt verzorgd door Holland Diervoeders Utrecht en de productie werd ondergebracht bij Lenersan Poortman in Dordrecht, beide eigendom van deze groep.

2011 Vandaag de dag is Teurlings een merk van Holland Diervoeders B.V. gevestigd in Dordrecht.
