How much feed should I give?

Canaries, parakeets, wild songbirds and tropical birds
Canaries, parakeets, exotic birds and wild songbirds eat all day long. So, make sure the bird has access to feed throughout the day. On average, it will need 5 to 10 grams of feed per day depending on the species, size and weight. Ensure a sufficient supply of fresh drinking water is always available. Use all year round as a basic feed.
Large parakeets
Large parakeets eat all day long. So, make sure the bird has access to feed throughout the day. On average, it will need 5 to 20 grams of feed per day depending on the species, size and weight. Ensure a sufficient supply of fresh drinking water is always available. Use all year round as a basic feed.
Parrots
Parrots eat all day long. So, make sure the bird has access to feed throughout the day. On average, a parrot eats 20% of its body weight every day. Ensure a sufficient supply of fresh drinking water is always available.
